The Elite Soccer ID Showcase is two unique events in one designed for all high school age soccer players who are focused on becoming collegiate student-athletes and want to train with and learn from current college coaches. The camp will feature quality instruction from college coaches, tangible soccer specific metrics and verbal interaction provided by the coaching staff through the instructional process. These metrics will include speed, agility and lateral measurements with and without the ball. There is also a College Experience Education Seminar for both players and parents during the ID Showcase Session to learn more about the process and what it takes to become a college student-athlete. The camp is open to all high school age soccer players and is restricted in enrollment. Players are encouraged to sign up for both sessions to maximize their time in front of the college coaches and provide the coaches the full picture of their skill set. Our goal for a player-to-coach ratio is 6:1 but will not exceed 8:1.
THIS EVENT IS RUN BY CURRENT COLLEGE COACHES
ELITE SOCCER TRAINING SESSION → 9:00AM – 12:00PM
This session provides an exceptional opportunity for all players regardless of position who want to showcase their talent in front of current college coaches while improving their first touch, striking technique, 1v1 attacking, and finishing in front of goal. The camp format provides an excellent training ground for the modern Goalkeeper who is tasked with more than just making saves, our coaches will work to improve footwork, positional play, ball handling, distribution, shot stopping and decision making while in and out of possession. The event will feature college level instruction as well as provide measurements on soccer specific metrics including the 40-yard dash, Pro Agility, 60 yd shuttle(w/ball) and T-Test(w/ball). The coaches will not only track these stats, but they will also instruct players on how they can improve them.
ID SHOWCASE SESSION & SEMINAR→ 12:30PM – 4:00PM
ID Showcase games are for those players who want to have live interaction in a game environment with college coaches. This portion of the camp is strictly designed to be an opportunity for coaches to learn more about each players ability in a live game situation. These games provide campers an intimate team setting to experience what it’s like working directly with a collegiate level coach. One of the most important factors in playing at the next level is how well you perform and interact with teammates and coaches during game play. Players are encouraged to come prepared to develop skills, showcase their talent and play meaningful games in front of college coaches.
THE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE EDUCATION SEMINAR will be held during the Showcase Session of camp and is for those registered players and their families. The seminar will last approximately 20-30 minutes. The discussion will cover topics like: The NCAA Recruiting Rules, How to Promote Yourself, What Coaches Look For, The Best Way to Make a Video, What to Expect Playing College Athletics and How to Talk to College Coaches. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and will come out of the event having a much better idea of What College Athletics is All About. Parents and players are encouraged to ask questions during the discussion.

EVALUATION
Each player in both sessions will receive general verbal feedback from the different levels of college soccer represented at the camp. Coaches will evaluate each player based on their experiences at their level of college soccer and give feedback when appropriate. This will allow each participating soccer player the opportunity to get a much clearer idea of where their skills may fit at the college level. As a courtesy, players will receive an email of all of their measurables that were tracked during the Elite Training Session. The evaluation is designed to be informative so players can use the information in their development plans.
WHY IS IT A CAMP AND A SHOWCASE?
Well, because it's the best of both worlds. Players want to showcase their skills to coaches, but they should also want to learn from them. Coaches want to evaluate players and their skills, so they can teach them appropriately, just like they do with their own players. Coaches also want to see how players react to new instruction, new techniques and how they socialize with peers and other coaches.
